'Naruto continued the act, moving up his arm in satisfaction that the wounds were beginning to heal slower and slower, vaguely hearing a pounding that sounded like knocking. This one’ll finally do it, he thought as he slowly dragged the shard up his wrist rather than across. Suddenly, he wasn’t in his kitchen anymore. He was sitting in the middle of a white room, no walls or ceiling in sight, while the shattered mirror lay half covered in blood before him. He sat up, feeling a smile graze his lips as he saw the way the color of blood stained the perfectly white linoleum floor in such a tranquilizing way. The blood began to rise, falling like backwards rain into the sky and Naruto pleaded for the color to stay with him this time. Why do you always leave me? Just let me bleed.'
