A holiday gift. This goes to NS-Games, and it is a drawing of his cat character Collin.
For those not knowing, NS-Games is working on a game project featuring the characters of "Jamal the Bombardier Bird," a cast some may have seen as playable fighters in Pepper & Co.'s "Cheap Characters" animation. Since then he has also been generous enough to share his own drawings of Pepper as well as the ID posted on my deviantART gallery's front page. I figured the least I could do was make this picture for him.
I had been seeing NS-Games's drawings of Collin, adjusting certain details after I made a few critiques. During that period I had been thinking about how Collin would appear if I were in charge of his design as a "Utopian Legend" character. From the latest resource I could find, this picture was the result. The pose may not be the best, but I made sure the details worked well. In a way he seems to look similar to Eddy Mikhail, but then he is also supposed to be a black cat.
His icon, as is customary to practically all of the Utopian Legend cast, is a rendition of the NS-Games logo. To match with the others I styled it for monochromatic usage, adding just a pinch of my own flair for good measure. After all, not all media is in color, and it's good to have a black & white version handy so that it is still readily visible. Of course, the background image shows the colored form as well as the full name of "Nextsoft Games." It isn't the same font he uses for his own logo, but I worked with what I thought fit best.
I hope he likes my rendition of his character, and that he pardons any inaccuracies or details that I may have overlooked.
