I really like this one. This was the first time I painted two Sailor Soldiers in one picture and this was one lesson after the other! Plus, I was trying to tell a story and yet make both poses work individually, too.
And now I understand why people charge so much for backgrounds... I would have liked to go way more into detail for this one, but I realized that that would take me roughly the same amount of time it took me to draw the characters!!!
