Five down, three to go.

Another remix from the stellar frontier midi collection to go into REBUILT.

This one actually confounded me early on. The instrumentation in the midi was so mishmasshed back and forth across the tracks that I was getting irritated trying to track down what bits belonged in which track.

If that makes no sense, imagine if you will. One track of the song. A track plays an instrument. Now imagine that this one track switched between several instruments over the course of the song.
Now put in a second track, this track does the same thing.

Now let's say it's nine tracks, and of the nine tracks, six of them like to sometimes play an instrument that was being played by another track in the previous bar.

So you have a bit of new-age synth over here, and then suddenly, the notes are playing in a totally different track, and all the tracks are doing this to the point it's a scavenger hunt.

I tackled it though. Ended up throwing out most of the supporting percussion save for the main kick and snare beats in the process, but that's okay. And there was a LOT of supporting percussion. Three tracks worth. Assorted snaps and crashes, some toms here and there, a few taikos... Switch channel echoes... lots of midi tricks I have automated devices for... So... traaash.

Sounds really amazing!! fav!!

And yeah, that track thing happens... it happened to me with a song, I used several sound for the synths in 2 tracks and then I had to use a track for each efect, I used like 7 in total, and then mix it...
