Kyon's imouto-chan (little sister) is going to North High!
Name supplied for her is Kichiko Kiyamata. Kichiko means "lucky girl". (It's kind of a joke since Kyon means "lucky"
) And I had a dream where Kyon was identified as Kyota Kiyamata. So of course his sister would have the same last name.
Little story to go along with this:
3 years later...
"Kyon-kun! Aren't you gonna say good-bye to me on my first day of high school? Stop looking like you're falling asleep!"
"huh.... Good-bye, imouto-chan."
"Hey, Kyon-kun! You can't call me that anymore. I'm in high school now!!!"
"You're still my little sister. I stop calling you "imouto-chan" and start calling you "Kichiko" when you stop calling me by my overly cute, obnoxious nickname and start calling me "Onii-san" or at the very least "Kyota"."
