The world turns beneath the hunter's moon. The wolves awaken, and the snow kisses his sanguine brow. His mirthful laughter falls on sleeping ears, heralding the passion hour.

Sometimes, that's all that really needs to be said, but I spontanteously feel the need to elaborate. That, and this undoubtedly deserves an epic comment. AND IT SHALL BE GLORIOUS! -puts on Spartan helmet- D8<
First of all, I have to say that it appears that you decided to go with a limited palette, and it totally works. The base colours are subtle and not overdramatic, and that in turn helps the highlights to stand out and accentuate the figures. It's nice how you don't slap on highlights and shadows, but instead make sure that you know where the light is coming from. It's very professional. I like how Shassie's skin takes on a different hue under the harvest moon; it makes him appear more feral, and demonic.
Geez, I just noticed the droplets of blood on his finger. I love how your smaller details are pretty sneaky like that, lol. I enjoy his expression; he looks overjoyed admist this hunt with his fellow creatures of the night. As I've said before, you've definitely improved with canine anatomy. The shadow- and highlight-play on their fur is nicely done as well.
The purple-to-red gradient is a nice little effect; it's great how the highlights on the wolves gradually transit from one colour to the next. I think you made a nice choice by going with both the snow and the bats; both give a dramatic effect, and the bats contribute nicely to the 'night hunt' theme.
Um...holy hell. I think that's enough for now, lol. Excellent work, Vic! 8)

Oh man, I'm just in awe! I love the color pallete you used, and the little details really add to the effect of the piece. Nice work! C:

Ooooo! My two fave colors: red and purple! Shmexy! I think this re-work is a definite improvement. While the first one was a great use of perspective and angle, this one has a much better composition. You can see how your skill has grown and your style has evolved from one to the next. 'Tis loverly.

That's sick. Those wolves are all like "GR!"
But seriously...epic work.
