The truth is the story behind the picture only came after I finished the characters.
The story basically is the idea of someone telling their lover that they're going to commit suicide, rather than doing it with them unaware.
The character isn't just killing himself for sympathy or anything of like, more just his faith in god, and the belief that his problems will be seen by "Him" which will grant him somewhere in the afterlife.
If the plot of this picture isn't obvious, I'm sorry
Anyway, I just kinda like the way the background works with the lineart more than anything really. Might do something like this again.
