under the bridge

during the summer, the river that normally runs under the bridge is reduced to a few shallow pools as the snows from the mountains gives way to the hot sun. once a fish, the "monster" that inhabited the river succumed to lethargy as he loved to stay under the cool shade of the bridge. now, over many many hundreds of years, he has grown to a large size and his fins have given way to tiny arms and legs that can't support his body. you can always find him under the bridge and is always happy to have visitors. he loves fruits and has hundreds of little friends from the forest who like to sit underneath the bridge and listen to his many stories. he can't move anymore but he doesn't really mind, as long as his pool doesn't dry up.

this character is one of a few in a cartoon that and i will be making in the beginning of next year. yes, it is replacing the one with the two fairies. we came up with a better story. you will be seeing concepts and stuff in the future, and an animatic soon as well. i'll also be posting new developments, sketches and more process work here on my forums, if you sign up you can see the pictures and whatnot. it's also active and we're always welcome to new members too. :)
