Commissioned tattoo from AnthroCon 2008 that I just recently finished off. Two very different dragons fighting in midair, neither one truly winning. I had a lot of fun doing this piece. This will be going on the person's back and was a challenge to get the look the way he wanted it.
Original is on 15x20" illustration board, watercolors and colored pencils. Inked details and outline.
This is NOT going to be available as a print per request of the commissioner. I'm sorry, but I need to respect my client's wishes.

it would have been cool if one of them was breathing fire or something, but this looks good :)

Why does this remind me of the rollercoaster Dueling Dragons in Univseral Studios and Islands of Adventure?

This rules. Whoever ends up with this tattoo is a lucky person.
At first, I thought that the two dragons were breeding. Than I noticed the blood and I thought that one of them perhaps objected to the copulation. Than I read the description and raised my eyebrows.
The picture is very good per se, but it seems to me that you kind of botched it.
The two dragons appear to be smiling, they are staring intently into each others eyes, the male dragon seems to be holding the female dragon in a suggestive manner, they both are relaxed looking, the female is grasping the males chest in a manner that is suggestive, and the overall position of the dragons gives me the impression that, well, um, look at it!
Yeah I gave it an up since I thought it was good, but next time try to make them look more aggressive.

Gorgeous! I wish I wanted a full back tattoo, because all the dragons I come across that I like are HUGE.
