Willing Prisoners

What happened was sudden, neither expecting it on that innocent picnic. Both afraid of that feeling that rose between them as they looked upon each other....

He had never known love...only that lust that so often overcame his senses...plus he never knew a woman strong enough to accept his secret...She...well she has thought she loved only to have it tossed aside like rubbish. Both feared of that rejection...

But she looked upon his form, no longer that halfling that she knew, replaced by this powerful one...a hybrid demon-elf mix. His skin was a dark golden color that darkened to a red the closer it came to his sides and turned into the color of flames that flickered upon his back. Small spikes pushed their way through his flesh along his spine and that phoenix tattoo on his back burned ever brighter. His fingers grew into slight talons as did his toes, and his incisors grew into small fangs that disappeared when he closed his mouth. Large fiery colored bat wings sprouted from his back, reaching out nearly twelve feet from tip to tip.

This was his secret...a terrible secret that could cost them both their lives...but how could she turn him away? What kind of woman would she be to turn from him at one of his most vulnerable moments? That fear still there, she moved towards him, gazing into those endless fiery pools that became his eyes. She couldn't deny that growing attraction she felt for him regardless of the guise he took. She wrapped her arms around him and kissed him, pouring everything she had into that kiss, bearing her own soul to him but in another way...willing to take that plunge...as long as he was by her side.
