One of the paintings done in my mind-grueling watercolour course this semester. I'm never taking a course taught by the same prof again. It was enlightening - no previous sketches, straight painting, only primary colours, one painting per class (1 class = 3 hours). It wouldn't have been so bad if he weren't such a broken record; mixing up the words and throwing them back at us doesn't escape our notice that they are the same words.

At any rate, it's over. This is an exerpt from my portfolio. No, it's not that great, but I wanted something in my gallery to showcase my watercolour skills (still working on them, lol).

Neat! Was that a mandatory course or an elective? I don't think I would have taken a watercolour course if I had a choice. I probably would have stuck with some painting, figure drawing and like ... sculpting. Lena's mom (who is in 3rd year) said that you get to know the figure models and they're like naked ALL THE TIME. lol

I think you did a wonderful job there frankly. Lovely details and lighting in general.
