The thing in the middle is a retro virus. The cool thing about these is that they contradict the central dogma of biology which is DNA > RNA > Protein. Retroviruses are proteins that inject their RNA into cells and make the cell(s) make the viral DNA. That is also the the awesome thing about viruses, they change your DNA! And once they leave or are defeated, you can NEVER have that same virus form again.
