This is a drawing I did for my Energy class depicting the 5 element theory of Chinese Medicine
Five elements from top going right: Fire, Earth, Metal, Water, Wood
Fire creates earth through ash
Earth creates metal through compression
Metal (in theory) creates water by condensation
Water nourishes wood
Wood feeds fire
Fire subdues metal, making it moldable
Metal destroys wood, cutting it
Wood subdues earth, roots push down and move it
Earth absorbs and holds water
Water subdues fire
