I was inspired by the Japanese legend of the Rokuro Kubi. The Rokuro Kubi is a type of yokai that appears as a normal human by day, but by night, they can stretch their necks. While most Rokuro Kubi are female, there are accounts of male Rokuro Kubi. So I got the idea to dfepict this romantic scene!
