1 word: AWFUL!!
The last time I was seriously drawing with coloring pencils was 7 years ago...
Now look what happned when I tried using them again! ARGGH!! It's terrible!! I bought a pencil set today, one of the best quality ever, with lots of colors and stuff... I tried drawing Daisy, but it was just too terrible! I tried hiding the uglyness with a black marker fot the lines, but that became even worse!! After that I tried Bowser, who also came out horrible! And Zelda... omg... not tha zelda!! Blah! And don't even bother looking at the Toad girl: Lavina, I gave up after 1 second when drawing her.
I can't work with pencils at all anymore!! The scan looks even worse than the real ugly drawing! ARRGH!!
I work much, MUCH better with copic markers (I'll upload some of my copic marker art soon)
Why I submit my horrible piece? Because I wanted to show you people how much I suck at drawing with pencils now. My old drawings from the past made with pencils looked much better! Nooo!

The Toad girl is my fancharacter, but a basic toad was used for her design.

Well, everything takes a lot of practise, and color pencils are no different. With enough practise some people can create really pretty work with that. But that's with every media. I can't work with either color pencils or copic markers myself. It must be the fact they are in color
I like the Daisy one the best. :)

I don't find it hideous, i actually like it, the Daisy and Bowser came out fine.
