Ehhhehe... I hope I didn't blind anyone?
Hey people, I'm new here. This was drawn for the Pinkitude contest in dA http://news.deviantart.com/article/61887/ .
Basically, she brings the dawn! Tada! Breast-cancer superhero. Hope she ain't too tacky
The dumb thing is, my favourite part of the picture is the background... which took me about 10 minutes compared to everything else which took daaaays. Probably why I liked it so much, haha.
Okok, enough of joking around.
I actually put a lot of thought and work into this piece. Reading about the contest had really inspired me! Breast cancer patients are getting younger and younger, so I wanted to bring some awareness with something that's modern and eye catching.
I deliberately used a ' P ' instead of the breast cancer ribbon. Hehe, I think you guys can see why from the picture, no?
The results ain't out yet, and although I know I have ziltch chances of winning it (a VESPA!) it'd still be darn cool if I at least get into top 40. First time a contest inspired me to draw

nice pose and colors, i especially like how the face is rendered- the foreshortening is sorta off though
