I made this little oilpainting (33x24 I think) for class a couple of weeks ago and I loved it X3

This is based in a Friederich paiting that I modificated stucking that wall in the middle of the landscape. What do you think about the idea?

Beautiful! I love the way the wall keeps on going and going! It really keeps the name of it in place!

I really like how the wall leads you to the center of the painting and the light is also really great!

It's a world wonder, i think it looks simple and very beautiful. When i look at the picture, i always search for the end of the wall, and i think it's a painting which best describes an object in the middle of no where and the impact it has with it's surroundings. i also like to think of the wall which is not only there because it wants to be, but it's there to obstruct our view from the other side and causing our curiosity to drive us in being explorative to see what's on the other side. I like the fact that you also included an every day living object we see, (for instance the tree ) which helps us to also understand the scale of this wall.. and the landscape...it's truly beautiful...Favorite^^
