OLD work that i recently retouched and finished. so as not to let this fall through to crevices of the mundane emo, i'll explain some metaphors.
blindfolded- because when one lies, they blink exessively as a defense mechanism residual from the fight or flight response, stress levels rise. when you want to tell if someone is lying, you'll have them look straight into your eyes- something a liar would find difficult.
yellow rose: once representing jealousy and dying love, this flower has come to symbolize light, joy, and friendship in modern times. this is symbolic in the old and new sense, as one adds another facet to the darkness, while another creates irony. you choose.
the thorned wires relate to the thorns on the rose- lying, if one is not careful, may leave scars on those it touches.

Very beautiful piece.
But on the lying aspect I have to say:There are plenty of people who can & do look you in the eye and tell you bald faced lies.while someone who might be shy,nervous or or how might have a neurological disorder(like autism or anyone of it's forms) might not look you in the eye.Besides,people lie to themselves and others(even if it may or may not be a concious thing. Other then that,your drawing is gorgeous,(and that's no lie).
