By now, you people really should be used to me coming out with crazy **** like this.

Here's the skinny. I started a project last summer, right before the brain-breaking drama reached its boiling point. What you see here is a very small piece of that project. It involves Chrono Trigger and, yes, 300. But more importantly it was intended to be an "advertisement" of sorts for the DS re-re-release of Chrono Trigger, which took place on the 25th of this month.

Needless to say, I'm a bit behind schedule.

However, unlike many of my other projects where I released a teaser during the beginning stages of development, THIS little jewel is only seeing the light of day now that I'm 85% finished. That's right: almost done! It will be a Flash movie tribute to all that is epically awesome in Chrono Trigger, and as such uses the soundtrack for a commercial for an equally epic movie, namely 300. The image is a Photoshoped piece of concept art drawn by the awesome people of the Chrono Trigger: Ressurection project (may this meager offering honor your noble efforts) and was animated using CrazyTalk 4. With any luck this will help to interest a new generation of gamers in the Chrono franchise and, Enitity willing, be one small step towards a new game in the Chrono series.

Tonight we dine in hell. Tomorrow,... we eat the Thanksgiving leftovers. ;;

VioletChaos Says:

As old as the reference is, this still got me to chuckle. I dig it though; seems like it must've taken some work to find a means of making his head move around as opposed to being just static. This definitely makes me curious and eager to see the finished product. *thumbs up* Keep up the good work.

Arkan Says:

...the movie is like Three years old or something...come on

Fieryone Says:

Awesome, is that a 3-D model of Magus's head?

Terralventhe Says:

I tried to get Chrono Trigger while I was in the UK last week. Unfortunately, it seems that the EU release isn't until later this December.

VioletChaos Says:

As a random aside, what's your FPS for this?

Demory Says:

WTF? What the hell does Magus mean?
