Chapter 4

First battle

Rusoca, Aurora, and Niaro arrived at the recovery station and entered, they were happy to see nesoterpie jumping up and down happily. “He is all better!” Nurse Jannet said happily.
“Thank you very much Nurse Janet!” Rusoca said happily. “You want to join us Nesoterpie?” Nesoterpie jumped up and down happily. Rusoca took out his pokéball and caught Nesoterpie.

They all waved goodbye. “Bye Nurse Jannet!” They said in unison.
“Good bye you three, see you next time!” She smiled as the left the station.

On their way back to the base camp, Niaro thought of a brilliant idea. “Hey Rusoca, you want to have a battle?” He grinned as she said this.
“Hmmm….. a battle you say…..Sure, why not! Want to use our bug type pokémon?”
“Sounds good to me!” and so, on their way back to camp, both of them started thinking of the strategy they would use.

As soon as they arrived, they quickly cleared some stuff and made room for the battle that was about to unfold. Aurora decided to be the judge and let Paryda and Flarcheops watch. “The battle is about to begin, send out your pokémon.” Rusoca and Niaro took out their pokéballs and let out their two pokémon, Nesoterpie and Primmipilar. As soon as both of them came out, they hissed at each other. Both Niaro and Rusoca could tell that they were natural enemies. “Now….fight!”

“Quick, use string shot Nesoterpie!” Rusoca yelled, Nesoterpie fired a string of silk at Primmipilar, ensnaring him. Primmipilar fought to get out of the silk. “Good job, use tackle now!” Nesoterpie charged and tackled him, knocking him down.

However, Primmipilar got up and was free of the string shot. “Good job Primmipilar.” Niaro said “Now counter him with your own tackle!” Primmipilar charged, hitting Nesoterpie.

“Come on Nesoterpie, finish him with one more tackle!” Nesoterpie stared at Primmipilar and charged, it was a critical hit! Primmipilar fainted and he was returned. “Good job Nesoterpie! And good job to you Niaro.”

“Thanks Rusoca, you were very good to.” They both shook hands and decided to rest for a bit, for they did not know what was about to happen.
