Here's another techno song that I worked on for a while. Again, it was really hard to come up with a melody, but once I got that, everything else came into place. I'm personally happy with this piece, although I don't think it's as good as "Corruption and Hope".

That is quite epic. :3 After having heard this; yeah HG Fortune is the way to go if you're looking for new synths. They're really cheap and/or free, too.
Also was that guitar sample from Garage Band's default package? That's one of the most not-terrible Guitar synths I've ever heard. I'd like to get my hands on one of those but even the lower-end professional ones all suck. :\
