Now it's happened, once or twice,
Someone couldn't pay the price,
And I'm afraid I had to rake 'em 'cross the coals.
Yes, I've had the odd complaint,
But on the whole I've been a saint...
To those poor unfortunate souls!
Just a quick, sloppy painting of one of my all-time favorite characters, Ursula, the sea witch! Such an inspired (and inspir
ing film!) It's so well done (save for what I feel is a bit of an unsatisfying conclusion regarding Ariel's relationship with her father) but the real show-stealer is this larger-than-life, dramatic diva of a villain. Incredible.
And don't underestimate the importance of body language! Hah!

I love how you did the eyes in your shots, and she looks so smug and powerful and dramatic!

When I saw those stuck-in-the-ground eels for the first time in an aquarium, I literally flipped my shit.
Because of this movie.
Traumatic, it was.
I always liked that she was fat, though.
That appealed to me.
