Nala and black leopard

"I have never seen anything like you before..." Nala spoke softly, looking up at the black leopard. The smaller cat's golden eyes directed toward her.

"You are a long way from home, lioness. But I am a leopard, just like the ones in your home. Only a different color." The leopardess smiled, watching the lioness carefully.

Nala smiled, but she knew she had to find help still. But maybe on the other side of this outcropping she'd find food in the dry grass.

I know Nala is skinny, but the movie bugged me having her in good condition when she found Simba. She should have been thinner because of no food in the Pridelands.
