Me My Elephant Tree

I'm not sure how else to talk about this piece. Our assignment for class was to go out and sit under this large Birch..... was it Birch or something else I can't remember all I know is that this tree was Huuuuuuuuuge.... and wrinkly looking. Anyways, our assignment for Drawing 1 was to sit under this thing and draw it using contour lines and weight of line to expess what was closer to us and what was further back..... the or had the most weight...

I think I crawled under the tree much further then most and laid on my back or slightly leaning at a 45 degree angle to draw this...... all I know is that I had the lowest branch nearly bonking my head the whole time I drew this. Enjoy
