I'm taking a class in school this semester on presenting art portfolios and the like for getting a job, and we've been warned on several occasions that it's good to avoid having things like "chick with sword" and "space marines" in a portfolio nowadays. Even knowing that it wasn't too great an idea, I felt really inspired to try and have both things we're not supposed to do in one picture, and this is what I came up with.

Oddly enough, I wasn't thinking "space marine" or "chick with sword" until you pointed it out - I guess I was more on the lines of Konoha ninja vs. workout girl. Nice subtlety.
