This bottle has a rolled scroll with the scripture Psalm 100:5 from the Bible printed on it inside.

"For the Lord is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations."

Inside the bottle, along with the scripture, I have added some shell beads and some crinoid columnal fossils from Monticello, Indiana. These fossils were hand-picked-up by my little brother and I on a camping trip and a commonly referred to as "Indian Beads."

I have sealed in the cork with silicone glue, so that the scripture inside cannot get wet, and so that you cannot lose the beads or scripture. I then wire-wrapped it to hang, along with another of the fossils and shell beads.

This bottle, and others, on sale in my Etsy store: oddmentsandtweaks.etsy.com

Note, this feature is not just for this one piece, but all of the lovely little craftings you can find in Genevevex's gallery.

Amidst the multitude of fine pieces in her gallery, this bottle necklace in particular sang out though - referring to personal preference. The way the fossil and shell beads contrast with the modern glass and 'new' gold wire as presented in a classic, but difficult to master, composition marks a true gift for design. If even one extra bead were placed on the dangle, or one less bead placed inside the bottle, the composition would be lost.

The crisp, professional photography also adds to the enjoyment of the pieces in her gallery - it is definitely worth a look - possibly a purchase as well as her and her husband are both offering their respective art for sale to help their current financial situation.

(And Zelda fans may want to take a look at her Red and Blue Potion Necklaces.. A cute and clever idea carried out in a simple, aesthetically-pleasing way.)

This and the stuff in your shop is so cute, love the rustic-magick feel :)

Sanguis Says:

God doesn't exist we have facts to prove it. Primarly evolution. Cast members are being fairly retarded in featuring things I see. They feature the whole artist instead of a good peice. Since they have such wonderful other artwork and they're featuring their worse, why don't we revoke their powers? Featuring should be in the hands of the sheezyartists instead of these brainfucks. This is no insultation to the artist only towards the cast members themselves and their ways. CC is still cool though ;(

Miss Dior Says:

That's really cool! It would be a sweet little ornament for Christmas or just to hang in the window. I love the fresh earthy colors you picked for the beads, too. Very cool.
