Autumn Road

Staring ahead
The slick black road winds
Through a tunnel of orange and gold
Hard tarmac
still wet from the days rain
Feet dragged softly with the jingle of her keys
White hair stuck to her tear streaked face
Brown canvas bag heavy on her shoulders
Navy eyes slowly loosing focus of the bold yellow lines
Stopping in her tracks
She collapsed to her knees with a thud
Face blank
Mouth agape
"Why?"

Moar word vomit. This one is really old, like from last year. I randomly found it in my red journal type book I used to carry.
Its short and I revised it, I liked the concept of it but the actual execution of the original was absolute crap. there was far to much useless detail and it lost all intensity.
