'Broken Wings'

"Trinity.....Help me.......please......"Yet again, it haunted Waru. Everytime he came so close to death, that dream- no. That nightmarewould come to haunt the raven demon. This time though, he wasn't going to wake up in darkness. He didn't know why, he didn't know how but when he woke up from his darkness of that dream. There was a warm light, was it- could it posably be heaven?! No. Instead, the warm light changed to a darkbrown color and Waru's sight cleared to tell it was a ceiling. The raven suddenly sat up, the shock of the nightmare and not knowing where he was going through his body as he looked around with his head turning wildly to see where he was and his hand going to his side to reach for his sword.

It was a bedroom. One that looked to be in a log cabin. The walls and floor were wood, aswell as the ceiling. The bed it self looked hand made out of wood, with a mattress thrown on it with a few blankets and pillows. Waru's lavender eyes blinked as he relaxed alittle, staring over at the small fire place in the room that was made out of stone that lead up past the ceiling. In the fire place, there were flickers of light and crackling coming from the fire that burned. there was a window, basic square cut out of the window with a net-like materal to keep bugs from coming in. The moonlight from the window clearly showed it was night as Waru pulled the blanket it off him and sat on the side of the bed.

His armor! His armor off his arms where missing and instead, where replaced with bandages! The raven looked at his arms for a moment before noticing something more, his whole upper body armor was missing, and also replaced by bandages. The olny area's not covered by bandages where his shoulders, callor bone and up. Though that wasn't it. His lower body, also missing armor, was covered by a pair of black cotton pants that were tied around his waist with a piece of rope to fit his slim waist. Underneith the pair of pants though, Waru could feel bandages covering his legs. Looking back, the raven even notice one of his wings had a bandage wrapt around it, and black blood was soaking through it. 'What had happened before the nightmare?' He thought as he blinked and looked back infront of him. Of corse, another fight or posably his forgot to wind himself again, those were always the reason. Though if he had been in a fight, against who, or what he couldn't remember. But it sure looked like they'd done a number on him.

Standing up, Waru inorged some of the aches from his body as he made a fist with one hand, forcing himself to walk. His body hurt so bad, he needed to be wonded up. He went to place a hand to feel if the key was still around his neck and sure enough, it still was. Waru sighed, glad atleast that was still on him. His weapons where resting near a wooden chair by the closed door, the sword laying agaist it and the bow and arrows resting on the chair itself. Opening the door first though before winding himself up, it lead to a bigger room. This also having fire place in it, this time larger then the one in the other room, as he could hear the crackling and snapping of the wood while the fire burned . The rest of the room was dark, but had two windows, which let another moonlight in to show the rest of the room. In the middle of the room, infront of the fire place was a couch. What was on the couch though was something more interesting. On one arm of the couchw there was an elbow resting with long strangs of white hair speading over it. On the other was a bare tan foot that looked like it could belong to a human.

Waru came closer, keeping his guard up as he came closer to the couch to see who the foot and hair belonged to. Had a human posably save his life? Or could it be-? "Zeko?" He said quietly to himself. Zeko and him had met a while back. Sorta like how he'd got stuck with his past love, Trinity. He'd gotten in a fight at a demon club, and after, he'd supposly 'saving' the lighting demon. Which he hadn't even ment to, he'd just felt like killing something, so he'd gotten in to the fight that Zeko was in and killed all the demons but the white haired male. After that, Zeko tagged along with Waru, as if trying to become his friend. Which was strange enough for most demons to do.

Some kind of old famous spell/poitions maker, some might discribe the lighting demon as, that being untill he'd also lost his own lover. Though due to different reason's then Waru's, but Zeko had gotten it proably just as bad as him if not worse. He'd been stuck with a child that she, Zeko's past love, had been force to leave behide. Of corse, years had passed since then when Waru had first met the lighting demon or even heard of the child afterwards. Now that child had to be grown up and was long gone. Oddly though, last Waru had heard the white haired male was supposed to be 'dead' after all these years he hadn't seen him. Killed by his own son and rotting away in the after life, but it sure didn't look like it.

"Sounds like you're finaly awake. Feeling better?" The raven looked over the back of the couch, and sure enough it was Zeko. Still looking young as ever though his mind and soul were that almost the same age as Waru. His body that of a late 20 - early 30 year old human male, long white hair that went to mid back and peach-cream color skin. His upper torso covered with a grey shirt, with no sleeves and black pants that seem to fit prefectly around his waist. "You look like you're seeing a ghost, something wrong?" Zeko asked as he sat up, brushed his hair back while looking back at Waru. The dark haired demon stared for a moment before shaking his head. "I heard you were supposed to be dead. That's all." He said as he crossed his arms, putting on his 'I'm thinking' face as he closed his eyes.

"You can't always trust what you hear." The lighting demon put on a smirk before patting on the space next to him. "Care to sit down? You've been asleep for over two weeks." Waru looked up, sorta suprised he's slept that long. "Two weeks?"He said as he walked over, standing beside the couch but not bothering to sit down yet. "Yeah." Zeko spoke, blinking as he notice the other's wing. "Hey, the bandages on your wing is soaked. Mind if I change it?" Waru looked over his shoulder for a second. "Do whatever." He simply replyed as he looked back at the fire. For a moment, the raven had zoned out, just staring at the warm fire as he then snapped back to reality feeling Zeko take the bandages off his wing. Giving a wince as he bit his bottom lip, he looked back to see what the lighting demon was doing.

"Hold still would ya, it's hard to change it if your wing keeps moving. " Zeko growled slightly as he looked at Waru before looking back at the wing. Waru stayed silent as he looked away, ignoring the pain from how tight Zeko was wrapping the bannage for a moment. "Is that too tight?" The white haired demon asked. "No. It's fine. Are you done yet?" "Yeah, pretty much. Though let me see your key. " "What!?" Waru suddenly said suprised as he looked back again, Zeko had an annoied look on his face as he rubbed the side of his forhead. "Let me see your key so I can wind you up. You must need a wind up afterall." "I can wind myself up, thank you very much." The raven said firmly before going over and sitting on the couch, going to cross a leg over the other as he winced again. Why did his body hurt so much?! He wondered, maybe he did need a wind up. And with all these bannages, someone would have to move them aside and put the key in to the hole on his back, since he couldn't very well do it .

" Whatever ya say then." The lighting demon said as he sat on a arm of the couch, on the oppsite side from Waru. "So, just wondering. I heard you talking in your sleep, who's 'Trinity'?". "None of your damn bissness." Waru suddenly growled, glaring at Zeko while he raised an brow. "Ok then. I save you, help you, and this is how you are. Remind me to let you die next time." Zeko muttered somewhat to himself as he looked away. "Oh shut up. I never asked you to 'help' me. And I could have lived on my own. ". Sudden a chuckle bursted from the lighting demon as he held his stomach. "Oh yeah, I bet. When I found you, you and your weapons were covered with all kinds of bloods from who knows what creatures, and layed out everywhere. Even if you'd live through that, the scent from those bloods would have driven demon's to you like bugs to a dead corp."

Waru made a fist with one hand, suddenly standing up and sending a punch flying at Zeko, though it didn't hit. Instead, the lighting demon had suddenly dissappered and reappered behide the raven. "Shut up! I don't need anyone's help, especially not your's" The raven growled as he stomp away back in to the bedroom, slaming the door shut. Zeko sighed as he had his arms crossed, and dissappered yet again.

"Ten minutes I'm up and he's already nagging me again for a *Censored*-ing thank you! That bastard!" Waru growled, kicking at the stone fireplace as a little chunk of stone was chipped off and flew out the window, causing a hole in the net that had guarded the window. He sighed and kept his arms crossed as he sat back over on the bed. Closing his eyes as he stared in to the darkness of his own mind. He could almost reply that nightmare in his head, seeing Trinity. He opened his eyes, looking at his bandaged hands. 'Theses hands. They killed her. Along with that sword.'He thought as he suddenly looked over at the sword that rest by the chair. He closed his eyes again and shook his head, biting his lip to hold back the tears that theaten to come. "Trinity...forgive me. Stop haunting me with that nightmare. Please." He muttered as he hid his face in his hands.
Zeko appered in the room, not needing to use the door as he teleported withouth the need of a portal. He stared for a moment, frowning as he saw Waru. The dark haired demon hadn't even notice the lighting demon as he got closer, as he mutter to himself more, wishing for the memories to dissapper. Then suddenly, Waru lifted his face out from his hands as he felt two warm arms wrapt around him. Two strong, warm arms that wanted to give streagth and comfort. For a second or two, the raven's black heart wanted that. For once to know that he wasn't alone in this cruel world. But his cold mind said otherwise, suddenly pulling away and standing up while growling as he glared at Zeko. "What the hell do you think you were doing?!" He yelled, making his hands in to fists.

The lighting demon sighed and looked away, standing up as he had been kneeling on part of the bed behide Waru. "Well!?" The raven asked again, still in a angery tone. "You were upset. I was simply trying to comfort you." He replied in a calm, yet sad tone. "I wasn't upset and I don't need your bloody 'comfort'!" He yelled, even though his face was blushing while he spoke. "Atleast I didn't let you die like that girl did." Zeko mutter as Waru's eyes went wide. "How do you know about my dream?!" "I took a look in your mind while you were sleeping. I can tell how upset you are." "SHUT UP!! Get out of my bissness and *Censored* get out!! Thank you! Ok! Is that what you wanted?! A *Censored*-ing thank you?! There you got it, now leave me alone!" The dark haired demon was screaming as Zeko could notice the tears that stirred in his eyes, still having a sadden look to his own face. "Waru. I don't care about a thank you. I was olny trying to -" "For the final time, I don't need you damn help!! Now leave me alone!"

The white haired demon dissappered as Waru sighed and turned away, olny to be embraced in another hold as Zeko was infront of him, yet again his arms around him. "Zeko, stop!" Waru yelled, trying to push and punch at Zeko to get away but still the lighting demon stood. "No Waru. You stop." The dark haired raven blinked for a moment. "Zeko...."He's tone soften as he looked up in to the blackness that was surrounded by the crimson circle. "Waru.."The other replied in a more tender voice as he held him. Waru gave up on trying to push away, instead standing there as he lowered his head in to look at Zeko's chest, excepting the hug for now. A weak smile broke on to the lighting demon's face as he watched the raven. Slowly, Waru slipped away. "I'm fine now Zeko. You can go now." The white haired male gave a nod and left after staring in to the other's eyes for a moment to tell he was really okay.

Waru sighed, his face slightly crimson as he blinked while noticing it. Bring one hand to touch his face as he then shook his head and took a deep breath. "He under like any being I've ever known." He said to himself as he walked back over to the bed, going to lay down. Zeko had been right, he needed to rest more for his body to recover. 'I'll wind myself up in the morning. Then I can ask what the heck was his problem. God, he's weird.' He thought to himself, slipping under the blankets as he looked up at the ceiling for a moment, his body still warm from the hug as Zeko had also shared his body warmth with him. With a sigh, the dark haired demon let his eyes slip close as he drifted in to piecful darkness.

The next morning came with the rays from the sun shining through the window. In the fireplace, all that were left where ashes as the whole building was silent. No crackling sounds from the fires, no foot steps or movements of any kind coming from Zeko in the other room. Waru awoke, slowly sitting up and looking around. His armor was over on the chair now, with his black undergramet folded up and both all clean. The weapons resting there aswell. Everything was neat and clean, the scent of blood was pretty much gone now.

The raven got out of bed, going to go look for Zeko as he opened the door leading to the larger main room. Everything could be seen clearly now, the doors that lead to other rooms and the fine work put in to the building. Everything except Zeko could been seen, which Waru found odd. He looked in some of the rooms, and then went outside in to the forest to look for him but still, no lighting demon. After searching outside, the dark haired male came back and looked around the house once more. "Zeko?! Zeko!"He called. 'Where had that weird lighting demon gone now?' He thought to himself as he sighed and went back in to the bedroom.

He went to wind himself up, removing the bandages around his upper torso. After winding himself back up, he went to go get dress. Getting his clouths and then his arm, and lastly, putting his weapons where they belonged. On him. Sword at his side once more and arrows on his back with his bow. The raven sighed once more and decided to do one last check. Though instead of finding Zeko, he found something else. A note. 'I won't be back, so don't wait for me . It was nice seeing you again, I hope you have better luck in your future. Zeko.'. "Why'd he leave?" He questioned to himself as he almost looked like he was sad Zeko was gone but then shook his head and toss the paper aside. With in a flash, Waru pulled out his sword and cut the paper to bits before it fell to the floor in a scattered mess. He carfully put his sword back in the sheath, sighing once more as he went to leave. He stood at the door way, closing his eyes as he could still sense the fanit energy noting Zeko hadn't left to long again. "Why did you leave me?" He questioned once more before closing the door. He looked up at the blue clear sky and the sun that shined brightly before starting on his way walking.

I thought up this after I got done reading what my friend, , wrote. Here's the link for the thing she wrote: http://www.sheezyart.com/view/191631/

It really helps to read that before reading this or else you won't understand most of it. ^^ It's got a hint of Yaoi in this, very fluffy. Really, this is this is the olny writing piece I've been able to keep in PG rating without hitting R. And also to note, this is my first writing piece that I've posted on a puplic site due to the fact I'm usually to shy or lazy to post them.

Enjoy. And please leave a comment. Thanks.

Just to note, please excuse any errors in the writing piece. I'm trying my best to correct them as I find them.

This is great, I love your style! Do you have more stories I may read? I felt a unique emotion when reading this, one that I cannot explain. There are some mistakes but they are fairly minor. Just check for spelling errors and mistakes in punctuation.

If I may ask, do you like to roleplay? It would be interesting to have a little RP with you. Well, let me know and thanks!
