So for one of my studio/seminar courses we were required to do two self portraits (ie. dyptich), one reflecting Modernist ideas/styles while the other reflected Postmodernist ideas/styles. I'm only posting up this one cuz the other one sucked ass. On the bright side, I got an A on the project :]
Yeah, this is supposed to be me. Real rough job, not my best work at all (rushed the night before it was due, so typical of me). Sketched in water-soluble marker (think Crayola) cuz pencil and pen doesn't do a thing on metal sheets. Yes, this is painted on a 1.5ft x 2ft metal sheet (approx). And I've never tried painting acrylic on it, but it turns out that it sticks well enough and scratches off if I used a compass. Acts like oil while the paint is still wet. Try it some time, it's a lot of fun =)
Referenced photo is on my computer. If anyone wants to see (which I highly doubt) I'll post it or something.
