These are some of the leftover samples from the pumpkin display I did for work this year. These are not real pumpkins, they're craft pumpkins. Sorry for the poor picture quality.. I sneaked in a snapshot with my phone's camera real quick after I clocked out for the day. It's a shame though - you really can't see the detail in them - especially the elephant. Ah well - hopefully they're in loving homes now. : )

The display instructions showed how to make the elephant, but theirs was just a plain elephant with big, generic old cartoon eyes, so I changes it to more of an Indian elephant and gave her opulent jewelry and pretty eyes with long eyelashes. : )

They also showed a dragon, but theirs just used a tall pumpkin laid on it's side and cut a mouth out of it to make a dragon head. I didn't like it much so I took a bunch of leftover gourds from the elephant to make the body and made wings by cutting a medium pumpkin in two. I also added a WoW reference to the final display (thrown out long before this picture was taken), which I think one of the other employees caught - heheh.

The panda I did completely on my own, but had to be rushed -alot- sadly... I wish I had at least had time to make a better snout for her.. : ( Still, it's inspired me to do a children's book-type illustration of her at least. : )

The spider web basket and tea set was 100% their idea done their way. It was also rushed, but it was cute enough on it's own so I didn't add any personal touches to it. ; )

And lastly, the floral arrangements at right were by our -very- talented floral designer. I didn't do them - they just happened to be on the same clearance table. (They're pretty though, no? : ) )
