Showing a few more sprites. These I just made today, the standing poses for the Tokaru Beam weapon.
The weapon itself acts similar to Bass's weapon in Mega Man & Bass (aka Rock Man & Forte). It forces Sketch to stand in once spot and fire beams rapidly. Also like Bass's weapon, it can be aimed in different directions, though Sketch's Tokaru Beam can be aimed in 8 directions compared to Bass's 7. And while this video demonstration seems to show otherwise, the Beam cannot pass through walls.
The obviously difficult part of this set if sprites was posing Sketch towards the different firing directions. Not only did it require Sketch showing different angles of his head, but delicate positioning to make sure there were origin points for the Tokaru Beam that made a relatively good circle. This was as close as I could comfortably get.
There may be concern as to the usefulness of a direct downward Tokaru Beam, but it can be handy in midair. He can fire the Tokaru Beam while jumping!
Oh, and in "real life" the Tokaru Beam is a single strong beam, rather than several small beams fired at random. It is however considered a relatively weak ability to Tokarus, although Heather Britannia has been able to build up its potential.
Please do not use these sprites without permission; both the spritework and the character belong to me.
