Like A Rose

Blooming so beautiful and bright.
Lustrous in its innocence.
Nurturing rains poor from the heavens.
Destructive lightning condemns,
The life with blow after blow.

Gentle hands cherish the shattered life.
Coaxing back to beauty.
Smiling at the light shining from its existence.
Reveling in the feeling of love,
The rose blooms once more.

I know there are probably a myriad of errors in here, but it's something.

nice poem, deep and telling much just with a few words. You certainly didn't lose your sweet touch of poetry in the time that you haven't written. Keep it up
