September-Office Heat wip

Another of the paintings for my calendar. I was going to make a teaser collage to show some of the pieces as they're almost finished, but I've decided to just go with this way. Nearing the finish-line with the project. I'm hoping to have all the paintings done to the 'touch-up' stage this weekend and maybe a few days after that for the touch-ups (like finishing the hands and other refining of details)

This one is for September, in honor of Labor Day, more or less. Since at least around where I live September is still rather warm, I went with the idea of the lingering of summer. ... And a cute guy all hot and sweaty wasn't exactly torture to paint

This is almost finished. Just have the hands and maybe a few final details. I'll probably adjust the color of his tie to a slightly muted red as I think it's a little too red and intense right now.

I don't know if it's visible in this image size, but he even has beads of sweat running down his cheek and chest
