Little Turtle-Poem #2

Little Turtle hides in her shell,
Fear and sadness know her all too well.
That special day between the two,
For him became something new.
He proved that their day together meant nothing,
By causing her all this suffering.
How dare he...ask she?
On their day that they were meant to be?
Many things happened just a year ago,
Those memories just begin to bring her woe.
The things she would do just to be with the terrapin again...
Anything, to be a little more than friends.
Little Turtle peaks out of her shell,
But she knows her life will not be well.
Little Turtle steps out into the street,
Because she knows she's finally been beat.
