An actual horse character I'm creating. Also playing with my coloring technique. I'd do much better if I had a tablet. D: Being broke sucks. Well, at least gas has gone down!

Now I can actually start saving a little.
Anyways, yeah, Kynova is an Indian horse. Sire is a mustang and the mother a Tenn. Walker. So she's gaited!

Right now I just have this side done. Soon I'll have both sides, an areal, frontal, and rear view just so everyone can see her spotting. I wish I knew a better way to color without having to go on tutorials and mock someone else's ways to color. Like to make it my own. Oh well. May break down and do it. lol

Its front legs look a lil too thin... ^^'

I love the eye with the blue chip in it, that's beautiful. I also really like how you do heads and noses; the curve of the jaw is nice and so are the ears.
I will totally agree that legs are really tough to get right on a horse, but you've done a good job! I don't think they're too thin, just that perhaps the shoulder is throwing them off a bit, and that your forearm needs to be thicker and longer, compared to the horse's cannon bones should be a little bit shorter, that will help!
Really nice, though, can't wait to see more. :)

I'm probably not the qualified one to sat it, but I think when you draw her again I'd make her head a bit smaller. She will look more proportional and feminine. She's perty.
I may draw her some day.
