Halloween Tribute
Do you hear them,
their malevolent snickering.
Banging against the door,
soon to be opened.
The night draweth nigh,
where they shall be released,
for one eve,
to commit their playful crimes.
They come out to scare,
those with weak hearts.
Rob all houses,
left unsupplyed.
In all sizes,
in all guises they come.
Deamons, reapers,
Faries, harpies.
One thing though,
remains the same.
Trick or Treat,
is their cry.
