I created this track for a Halloween party we're hosting (along with the invite you see in the thumbnail), to play through hidden speakers dotted around the place.
I've tried to avoid all the obvious sounds for this track (e.g. bats flapping, wolves howling, mad scientist laughter, woman screaming)... and instead gone with more interesting (and creepier) sounds like random knocking, echo-y children's laughter, and unidentifiable noises.
A lot of these sounds were sampled from the game Thief 3, some from general wildlife noises, and some generated in the music program Fruityloops. You should also recognise the Cloverfield Roar, and Samara's Song (from The Ring).
Interestingly enough, I'm led to believe the cry/scream sound at the beginning and elsewhere in the track is the mating call of a fox. Go figure.
I designed the track to be able to loop at the end for repeated playing throughout the evening. You're more than welcome to record and use this background track for your own Halloween shindigs, just lemme know if you do!
