After that I woke up in a sweat in my math room. Nobody had tried to wake me up for my next class it was now the end of third bell with only a few minutes left in the period left. I look around in a daze and think to myself ‘there al the same people and not one is capable enough to wake me up when the damn bell rings ‘. Even with that thought I was in a really good mood because of that dream but what the fuck was that last part about? I mean she bites me and she had fangs, VAMPIRE FANGS, I mean wtf. Who knows maybe I have a vampire fetish. I walked out of the class and walked only three doors down and I’m in my English room but as soon as I opened the door the bell rung for lunch and I turned right around and made my way to the lunch room.
I walked thought the hall only seniors are supposed to be going to lunch right now but I go any way because no one ever got on us for it so why not do it. When I got to the lunch table I was the first one in my group to sit down. I sat there looking around at the clean room it was only clean for now by the end of lunch it would look like a hurricane had hit it. All the trash would be on the floor and drinks would be spilled on the tables gum thrown on the floor just your typical messy lunch room. Finally nick walked in with his head high and a little pep in his step and I think ‘what a the hell is wrong with him he’s always to happy the yet he dress like a Goth, what a weirdo’ then I retreat back to by own little sanctuary and pay attention to my self thinking of the things I should get done but probably wouldn’t because I don’t want to. He sits down next to me and says to me “how’s it going for you today”. I look up at him with a small smile and say “well I’ve got plenty of sleep “.
Then marry walks in and I see numerous guys heads spiral around to watch her. That’s one of the many reasons I would never date marry. she’s wanted by to many other guys but I think nick kind of gets off on it ,or It also could be that he is just as obsessed as everyone else in this damn school (roaches). She sits down next to him and without saying a word to ether of us she kisses him and they do that for about the whole lunch period stopping only to breath. Jessie walks in smiling and happy she’s the one out of us that most stands out she fits in just fine with the group but she’s the only one that doesn’t ether dress or act Goth yet she is accepted only here because she refuses to become kind of zombie is what she says .
So in theory she fits in just fine we are just the rejects of the school all thrown in to a corner in the back corner of the lunch room. We all have strange and weird views and ideas that don’t sit well with others. Jessie sits across from me as usual again (man I hate noticing how every day is so reparative and boring). Me and her talk for about Mrs. Shackle the English teacher. Then in walks Stepheny and she sits NEXT TO ME (this was abnormal she usually sits across for me next to Jessie but today she sat next to me. She sat there and joined the conversation saying “yah Mrs. Shackle is a bitch”. We sat there changing the conversation once in a while but the entire time we were there I saw that Stepheny was looking at me and staring at me. I looked over at her she would look away to Jessie and blush a little.
The idea made me absolutely getty thinking about how she was actually embarrassed about being caught staring at me. So many times before she has caught me doing the exact same thing. In my absent mindlessness I looked over at Jessie her face showed joy but by now I knew how to tell how she was feeling it was all in her eyes. Whenever she was sad her eyes literally changed to the color blue. As far as I know I’m the only person in the group that knows about her mood stone eyes. It’s really an amazing sight its like one of the seven wonders of the world.
Right before I have a chance to say something Jessie stands up and says “I have to get some stuff done ill see you guys at the bus stop bye”. Without even a second thought I blurt out a careless “goodbye”. The rest of the group just doesn’t pay attention as usual. Although them not saying goodbye was cold I most be the coldest of all I knew of her sadness yet I said nothing all the times she had helped me and the time I could have helped her I say nothing at all. I turn to see a worried face on Stepheny and I quickly smile and continue the conversation about the new shirt I was getting tomorrow.
The bell rang and I began to stand up and after i finally get to my feet I see Stepheny drifting closer to me with her lips puckered and her eyes closed. our lips touch again but this time it was in reality her lips touching mine. Slowly I felt nervous and tension flowing out of my body. I hear a voice in my head saying “give into your temptation everything will be ok”. I listen to this voice because well the only girl I’ve ever been interested in has just kissed me out of no where. I move closer to her and wrap my arms around her while she does the same. We both release the kiss at the same time and we stare at each other from a closer view than I’ve ever seen of her. Her pale white skin, her dark blue eyes and her black hair seemed al that much more beautiful from this angle. It might have been the pure ecstasy of the kiss but I didn’t care I was the happiest moment in my 18 years on this earth.
The bell rings and both of our eyes pop out of our head. We released each other from the hold and walked side by side with out a word to get our tardy slips. It was no big deal because it was the last day but we still had to get them. We walk side by side both of us hanging and looking at the floor. I pick up my head and try to from some kind of sentence and nothing comes out al I can do is spit out a kind of depressing groan. “I’m sorry I didn’t think you would react this way” she says sill walking to our class. “No its fine I actually enjoyed it I just didn’t expect it”. Stepheny suddenly got a smile across her face and looked at me and said “so we it’s the last day of school you have a car and we are both 18 so we can sign our selves out “. I nod agreeing with her but now I’m even more shocked than before when she kissed out of no where. Now we are already up at the front desk sighing out of school. Its really easy so sign out of my school al you have to do since it’s the last week of school is wait till after lunch then you can go home as long as you have a ride or are within on mile of the. The catch is though that you have to have passed all the exams because if you didn’t you had to retake them. But me and Stepheny are top of our class and ill be damned if I wasn’t going to pass such an easy test i passed the thing with a 101%. I got an extra point because I had the highest grade in the school already and had a 100% in the class so its not really any importance with getting an extra 1% it was kind of pointless but whatever.
Stepheny came in right behind me with a 99% on the exams and a 98 in the classes. Me and her have always been rivals but I usually win with everything except for when we are playing any kind of board game like chess, battle ship or rick. She always wins no matter what I do. I think she’s just a gets envious on the test and messes up on them is all. I think if she would just calm down and relax me and her would be tied for first in this school but when the entire school is mostly comprised of idiots it doesn’t really count for much now does it.
Me and Stepheny walked out of the school with no problems from the office at all. We just walked out with no care in the world to my blue Chevy cobalt. It wasn’t much but it looked nice and got me were I needed to go so I’m not complaining. “so wait a sec we left school but what are we going to do?” I said. “We are going to go to my house to hang out because my parents are not home” said Stepheny. “are you serious this is kind of weird don’t you think I mean we are finally just going on our first date and your already taking me to your house that no one is home at?” I said. “Man you jump to conclusions quick don’t you. Its not like its completely empty Andy is there” Said Stepheny. As I start to pull out of the school parking lot a start to blush a little I had actually hoped it was going to be just me and her. Plus her brother scares me he told me once that if i dated Stepheny and then broke her heart he would break me. That was the scarcest day of my entire 7 year old life. He is 20 now and is only one year older but he’s a lot taller and a lot bigger than me as well so I’m not even going to try and pick a fight with him but I am now technically dating Stepheny so I don’t really know what’s going to happen.
As we finally pull into her drive way I see that it is true that her parents are out usually I see there gray Malabo or black escalade but they are both gone somewhere else. Here I am again scared to death about the thought of actually being with steph. Then look over at her beautiful body, smile, eyes and all my worry and doubt seem to disappear as I step out of my car. as we make our way up to the door we both talk and laugh at random things like how its is funny that our friends are all still in school and how much fun tonight is going to be. When we get to the door Stepheny stumbles threw her keys and opens the door up to see Andy blowing up chunks on the floor.
I see the whole thing and I almost threw up myself where Stephen’s entire face just went green. She ran over to him and grabbed him up and walked him to the bath room. When she finally walked out she had a face of pure sadness and said “well there’s no party tonight and I need to stat here to make sure he doesn’t get any worse. So I don’t think we can go on our date tonight but you could just stay here all night and watch a movie on the TV while he is asleep up stairs” says Stepheny. I was kind of depressed at first but when she brought up the whole night a surge of joy shot threw my body and I said with a large smile “okay that’s cool with me”.
As Stepheny starts to walk Andy up the stairs to his bed room Stepheny called down to me and said “hey can you run to the store and buy some flu medicine”? “Yah sure” I reply quickly already starting to walk out the door. “Thank you” she calls down. I walk to my car with a smile crossing over my face now my night had just turned from a night out on the town to a romantic night at home with Stepheny.
What could go wrong you might say well we will talk about that in the next installment now wont we?
