Zero, Legendary Reploid Chapter 8

There was a world where there was a war. This war had been started by my father. It had put the world in two halves: those with my father, and those who weren't. In the end, my father's side won. But something happened that triggered another war, with two sides: Those loyal to my father, and those that were disloyal. The loyal won. Eventually, those loyal father started to kill each other, and it was eventually down to just me and my father. The rest of my family and all of my friends were killed in the first war. In all actuality, that "world" was really just one single town, and it was just the townspeople starting their own war, and well, I already told you all the rest. I was only three at the time. Soon after it was just me and my father, he burned the town and everything in it- including the bodies, even though he didn't really care if that actually seemed respectful or not- down to nothing. He moved us to his secret lab, of which I'd always thought was more like a castle. We lived there for three years, and during that time, he made me learn everything my twin sister Twilight -of whom is literally my twin, I just never got to meet her before, for whatever reason- learned, and when those three years were over, we were done with our educating. My father had committed an 'experiment' on us, and turned us into the most human-looking reploids you will even meet. Combined, we're called 'Twilight Sky'. Apparently, we're his secret weapon. But only I can activate his only other secret weapon- his Dragon Laser, or so it was named since it was so skillfully designed to look like a dragon. Dad had given us a pet dragon mechaniloid named Starlight to take care of us and so we could play with her, and we'd always enjoyed that. However, three weeks later, he sealed us away in capsules in a room hidden behind the large room the Dragon Laser was hidden in, of which was in a secret building that Dad had built in the desert to hide us better. It was kind of like his secret lab, only it wasn't. It was just a hiding place for our capsules and the weapon. He'd returned to his lab, and had continued working with a scientist named 'Dr. Weil' and gave him a whole bunch of information, but, eventually, someone found out and killed my Dad, as well as completely destroying the lab. Weil had found out who it was before he could return to announce what my father had done, and had made sure he was dead. However, he never got the information as to where the weapon and Twilight and I were hidden. Four years later, I had been released from my capsule, and Starlight and I kept a Twilight and the weapon a secret, as well as occasionally checking in on the area and such for anyone, which luckily, nobody had ever found the place, and neither Twilight nor the weapon had been touched. We stayed like that for three years, making me and Twilight thirteen. I had gained two friends: Hammie and Praxis, but there was also Andre, of whom I hadn't seen in a while, so for some reason, I couldn't remember what he looked like. Ah well. Anyways, it's come down to my appearance to the world again. I ran into the legendary reploid heroes, Zero, and X, as well as Omega. However, Starlight had disappeared, probably doing something on her own. Anyways, Dr. Weil and Omega had been looking for me, so they'd attacked Neo Arcadia. By now, I'd decided to look for Praxis and Hammie again, but it had been so long, I didn't know if I could find them in Neo Arcadia anymore. I'd decided to try. Unfortunately, while I was looking for them, Dr. Weil found and caught me. He'd brought me back to his base, along with the reploid, Omega, and the Operator, Dark. He'd used one of my father's inventions to force me to tell him where the weapon was. It had made me completely emotionless, and I don't remember how I'm suppose to break out of it. Anyways, when we arrived at the location, Omega had literally destroyed the entrance, and we found that Praxis, Hammie, Starlight, Zero, and five of the Resistance soldiers were there, as well. Even so, my control, my consciousness- it was all thrown into the back of my mind. I could only see and hear what was said, and that was that. I had been trapped in my own mind; a pitch black place, with no end to it, with only a small projected screen for me to watch like a TV, only I was watching what was really happening, not some normal TV show. Even with that, I flinched, but you couldn't tell that. I guess you could say my body wasn't my own anymore. I really wanted to scream, but I couldn't. I had to just stand in my own mind, and watch what happened. And she could also look back at her past, but she still couldn't remember all of it.

Praxis looked shocked. Sky would have never ignored Starlight. Never. But one thing he could tell, thanks to a mirror-like crystal that had been a part of the building's arcutecture, he could see some kind of needle poking out of the back of her neck. He could tell that everyone else had noticed this, as well, but Weil only smirked, thinking he'd already won on so many levels. And yet, he was wrong on so many levels, as well. A charged buster shot had come from behind, hitting it's mark due to the fact that it hadn't been expect. He turned to see Fefnir, as well as Leviathan. He caught on to something that wasn't right almost immediately. Harpuia and Phantom weren't there! Omega had turned around as well, and had received a few kunai had a slash from behind. He turned around towards the weapon again, and he was immediately annoyed at the fact that Harpuia and Phantom were 'playing' with him. He scowled, and looked up. He could see how Harpuia could have easily flown in from above; there was a large circle on the roof, of which would allow a laser to be shot out of the weapon from where it was, and it was wide enough that about three people could fly in-between the laser and were the roof actually started to cover the floor from sand. He could also see how many different ways Phantom could get into the building without anyone noticing. He was pretty good with using stealthy techniques, and he wasn't going to doubt a ninja about that. He looked around, seeing if he could spot Harpuia or Phantom, but both had managed to hide themselves pretty professionally. He stepped forward, and looked carefully at his surroundings. He knew that Zero would join in to the fight, so he'd kept an eye on him, too. He eventually managed to pinpoint where Harpuia was hiding, and fired an Omega Beam from his hand at him. However, since he was in his element, he'd dodged it with no problem whatsoever. Harpuia may be out of hiding now, but he'd still be a naussiance to get rid of, especially if he had to keep an eye out for another of Phantom's attacks, and to watch out for Zero. His mistake was not paying attention to Praxis. Praxis had managed to get behind him, pulling out his red saber and blue saber, and had slashed him from behind, making Omega jump forward to avoid taking too much damage.

Dark had been put in charge of keeping an eye on Sky, so he made sure that they were out of the way of the fighting, even though they were bound to eventually attack him so they could get Sky back. However, when the dragon-like mechaniloid, Starlight, had run up to Sky, he decided to allow it. But that was a mistake. Starlight had turned towards him, and had bitten his right hand. He yelped out in pain, being no stronger than an X-Drone, and had jumped back, away from Starlight and Sky. He was the only one without a weapon, and his only abilities were operating reploids, repairing reploids, and knocking people out. Yeah, knocking people out... that wasn't really an ability, just something he was good at doing for most people. He scowled, glaring at the dragon mechaniloid. He went to move towards her, but found that two of the Resistance soldiers had grabbed a hold of him, while a third had come up behind him and knocked him out. Zero turned to them. "Have Ciel teleport you back with him. We'll learn something.", he ordered, and they nodded. A few seconds later, the five Resistance soldiers were teleported back to base with Dark in hand.
