Description

Project #2 for my Color Theory class. We were to create three images that are related to each other somehow. I chose "places of home", which is Washington state. My three images are of Pike's Place, the Seattle skyline, and Gig Harbor.

MANY reference photos were used. Most of them were MY OWN, because I DO live in Washington. These are NOT photo manipulations. These took several days to finish and they are not of exact replication of either place.

This was the instructions for each assignment...

--------
You will use very different colors in each of the three:
1. Primarily saturated colors and tints; no black, white or achromatic gray
2. Primarily shades and tones; no black, white or achromatic gray
3. Based on the color use in a non-contemporary pre-existing work of art or design http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v382/InuHelina/Random/am-fruit-L.jpg

I really like the way the panels are separate but continue the scene.

Love the composition! Really captured the feel of the landscape in that part of the world, too. :)
