This was done for my concept art class, and the assignment was to find a curio and then create a concept piece inspired by the curio. I couldn't find the curio I wanted so I made one:

After finding a Curio you had to write a short story behind the object :)
Basically my Curio's story, in a nutshell, is a doll created from the sorrowful tears of the Goddess Diana and the blood of her slain daughters. Sounds pretty gross in the nutshell version but I love mythology and I wanted to create a doll for my character Nuwtalie Numericallie.
Essentially this doll has been found and cared for by little girls throughout history. Since Diana is a protector of females, the doll protects and gives strength to its owner. It is said the doll has come into possession of great women throughout history.
And that's my story in a nutshell and here is the piece that was inspired by the Curio.
