Hello y'all,
Some time ago my mum asked me to write something for the choir she sings in. I promised her I tried to set a plain mass on music for her. It's rather hard to do to be honest but so far I managed to finish the kyrië.
It's for 3 voiced female choir and piano.
The key is c minor though the structure is A-B-A, like the text is.
The text is:
Kyrie Eleison
Christe Eleison
Kyrie Eleison.
It's from the Roman Catholic Mass and the only sermon part which is still in greek. It means, Lord have mercy on us, Christ have mercy on us, Lord have mercy on us.
The B part is in E-flat major and I tried to make all 3 voices as interesting to so sing as I could.
Enjoy
