These were inspired by the dark outlined sprites from Sonic Advance 3. Each sprite was drawn on paper, scanned, traced in bold black, then pixeled. Yes. Pixeled. It was part of a huge sprite project back on an old message board I used to be a member of.
I'm actually a bit nervous posting these here. Please please please! Do not alter my sprites, or post them elsewhere and claim them. I worked really hard on these, okay? Each one took at least 4 hours. x__X

These rock. Seriously. You're truly someone to be inspired by. ^^ The sprites truly capture the personalities of the characters, and may I add that Ashura looks friggin shweet.

Wow, I really like the sprites.. It seems very true that hand drawn sprites usually turn out the best.
