I did this sometime last year (2007) when I was bored and so happened to have a glass jar holding my very small stash of copics and brushes. I decided to finish it this year and show it to my art teacher. Apparently, she's very big on horizon lines. I think that horizon line/background in the back killed the drawing.

And then the scanner killed it some more....

It seems almost all art teachers are big on horizon lines. They seem to INSIST on them. This is just what I've noticed from all my middle school and high school art classes. (Which I'm glad I don't have to take either of anymore.) It's a great drawing, but you may be right about the horizon line taking something away from it.

i'm not sure if i like the line or not.... i'd have to see it w/out to get a full oppinion on it...
