I realize that this isn't as good quality as what I usually draw, but I felt the need to upload this anyways. This was a drawing that I made for my grandpa who resides in Montreal. His health has been badly deteriorating over the past couple of years and he's been taking a turn for the worst, apart from the fact that he's almost completely blind. If I could've drawn him a masterpiece, I suppose I could've, but in the short amount of time equivalent to a couple of days left with him down in Montreal, I slaved overnight to create something simple but meaningful. There's still some white spaces that needed to be filled in, the background was not properly blended, 'nor was the grass really finished and I think I like it just the way it is. I gave it a five minute thought process before I started on this piece and worked on it well over night to make sure that I could present it to him on my last day before I had to board the plane. I put a lot of thought and feeling into it and I wouldn't have it made any other way.
