Welcome to Hyrule

It was a lively and peaceful afternoon in the Hyrule Castle Town. In the middle of Hyrule Market a wagon with some big milk boxes were about to be taken to Hyrule castle.
A ranger named Talon was the one who took care of the stuff and was about to deliver milk to the castle. Malon was also there but she seemed to be a bit concerned and was wearing a brown rob to hide herself from everyone.

Malon: Dad, try to promise me to not fall asleep again as you always does!
Talon: Not that again, dear Malon. You know it’s not been easy lately.
Malon: Dad!!!
Talon: But I do promise to try, honey! But btw, why are you wearing a rob today?
Malon: I’m freezing. It will be over soon tough.
Talon: Ok. Bye dear, wait here and I’ll be back soon.

Then Talon took the wagon with the milk with him and headed for the castle and left Malon alone again. Malon sighed heavily and sat down on the edge of the fountain.
Suddenly a postman came rushing to Malon in high speed and handed over a letter.

Postman: Priority mail delivered! If you ever need me again you can always meet me at your home Lon lon ranch everyday at 12:15. Good afternoon!

And then he rushed out of the Castle Market in high speed. Malon was very surprised and concerned about the letter she just got. She opened it curiously and read a little of it. She smiled, now she knew who it was from. She continued reading the whole letter and once she was done she put it in a little pocket in her robe and whispered to herself.

Malon: Now serious things is about to begin!

She got up from the fountain and was just about to return home and answer the letter.
She didn’t care to wait for her father right now, the letter was much more important for the moment. But when she was just about to head off another cool music started. It was the same kind wild music style she and Zelda heard the other day. The song today was slower but still very nice and cool. This day they were at the same side as the Temple of time was and danced at some carpet they put on the ground close to a shop. All the people were gathering the place to see the Gerudos once again, Malon was also was happy to see them again.
Tough the guards they were not afraid to show up again. There were the four dancers dancing plus a little longer in the song they all started singing in their language. It was really cool to hear. Malon also waited for the fifth dancer whose name was Nabooru. Malon was looking around the Market, hoping for her arrival but she seemed not to be around. Then suddenly she noticed a person with a gray rob sneaking around the houses at the other side of the castle Market. There were also some men hanging around there. Malon recognized them, it was those selfish flirts who got so crazy over the Gerudos yesterday. They were standing there and peaking on the Gerudos from there and behind them were the person with the rob sneaking. Malon started to recognized the robbed person also. It was a Gerudo, she was moving and sneaking very graciously and quiet. Suddenly Malon got to see something she never thought she would get a chance to see. She saw how the Gerudo graciously and quietly stole the men’s cash they were carrying in their bags and they didn’t even notice it.
Malon was very amazed and also very curious so she sneaked after the Gerudo when she sneaked through the small town gates she and Zelda ran trough the other day.
Once Malon ran after she couldn’t see her anymore. When she thought she had lost her she suddenly heard a familiar female voice.

Voice: Oh, the friend of Hyrule´s Princess!

Malon turned around and then noticed the Gerudo with the gray rob behind her. The Gerudo removed the hood of the rob on her head and showed her face and smiled, Malon thought she looked very familiar.

Malon: Are you the one I think you are?
Gerudo: Indeed. I am the fifth dancer and the leader of our Gerudo-tribe, I am Nabooru.
Malon: I knew it! Awesome trick. Make everyone look at your dancers plus the flirts so you’d get the chance to steal from them.
Nabooru: Why thank you! Indeed, I also enjoy thieving alone.
Malon: I must also say that me and Zelda thinks you guys are very awesome. Love your dancing and music and so on.
Nabooru: Thank you again! We also enjoy earning money. We steal If we want treasures but only from men and definitely from those who deserve it. The flirts are now done, only the guard left.
Malon: Yeah! That retard really deserves it. If we’re lucky he maybe arrives again and destroys all fun. The other guards around this town don´t seem to mind what you guys are doing and that’s good. Zelda also told me that those are like the only guards around here that’s normal. The latest times Zelda has felt a big change around here and it’s really serious!
Nabooru: Very true! Dark times are approaching and it’s time to stop it. I must also tell you both to be careful and try to avoid your secret meetings. It’s very dangerous outside in these times!
Malon: What?

Outside the big Gate to the Castle town a boy in green followed by a fairy were approaching. He looked very happy and amazed as he beholded the big gate.

Link: Wow! Look, Navi! I’ve never seen anything like this before!
Navi: Indeed, it’s a beauty! Behold the big gate of Hyrule Town.
Link: Can’t wait to see the town and all! Btw, what’s the music?
Navi: Hmm…I hear it too now. I dunno, it seems to come from the town.
Link: What are we waiting for? Let’s go!

Meanwhile, Malon and Nabooru was still talking.

Nabooru: These times gets even more dangerous and darker both in our place and in whole Hyrule. And around here it’s too close! The princess isn’t safe and soon no one of us will be safe.
Malon: I see. Then as Zelda said in the letter we have to be more discrete but does it mean we can’t even meet anymore? Didn’t want it to end like that…
Nabooru: I’m very sorry but indeed… At least not as long as “he” is around.
Malon: Indeed. He’s destroying everything! Just wait until Zelda knows exactly what he’s after! And just wait until he prophecy happens for real!
Nabooru: So it’s true…The magic and strength in the princess is about to wake. Now it’s all a question about time…
Malon: Indeed, and I have a feeling that…

Malon stopped when she saw something very familiar she just read from Zelda’s letter. After some seconds she smiled, the boy in green had arrived…
Malon turned around to Nabooru who looked a bit confused.

Malon:.. That the change is here as soon as possible…Sorry but I have to go. But keep waiting here, the guard may show up soon.

Then Nabooru smiled as answer and put on the hood on her head again. Then Malon smiled back and sneaked out to the Market again.
Link looked very amazed as he beholded the lively Castle Town and the Market. He was also very amazed when he saw the Gerudos dancing and singing at the carpet. Like the rest in the Market he just had to watch them. Their song just ended and everyone clapped and cheered. They bowed and then their next song started. This song was very wild like the song they performed the other day. Much rhythm and much drums plus the dancing. In this song they threw both their language and the other language other could understand together. It was really awesome! Link was very amazed and amused.

Link: What are those red haired women, they’re awesome and have cool music!
Navi: They’re Gerudos and come from the desserts. They’re rarely seen and is said to be very good thieves.
Link: Wow! But these ones don´t seem to be thieves.
Navi: That’s exactly what they want you to think! They’re not to trust!
Voice: Not the evil Gerudo-tribes at least!

Link and Navi turned around to see who spoke. In front of them was a orange-haired girl with a brown rob. It was indeed Malon!

Malon: Wow! You really are a Fairy Boy. A Fairy Boy from the forest!
Navi: Fairy Boy!?! Ha ha, fun!
Link: Who are you? Do I know you?
Malon: My name is Malon, nice to meet you!
Link: Thanks the same! Now, continue to tell us about those Gerudos cause you seem to know a lot about them.
Malon: As you just heard Gerudos are said to be greedy thieves who steal from everyone. But that’s actually another story. The very awesome and creative Gerudos you see now are the real and legendary Gerudo tribe.
Link: Real and legendary?
Malon: Yes! The forgotten and legendary Gerudos! These ones steal only from the men and also earn their awesome in this cool way. These ones are not evil and you can actually trust them!
Navi: But what about the other tribe then?
Malon: You mean the ones who were taken by the evil?
Link: The evil!

Links serious face told that he understood. Suddenly he forgot about it and looked around and noticed the Gerudo with the gray rob hiding in the small gates. Nabooru noticed that his eyes were on her but she just smiled for herself.

Link: I see it’s ordinary even for a Gerudo to wear a rob!
Malon: Oh, she is a friend! She’s also after revenge.
Link: Revenge?
Malon: Yes! After the other day. It’s also the explanation to why I’m wearing a rob.

Then Link grinned at Malon like he wanted to hear the rest.

Link: Yes?
Malon: Err…it’s a long story! But believe me it’s really fun!
Link: Btw, do you know how I can get to Hyrule Castle? We have a very important meeting with the Princess of Hyrule!
Malon: It will be difficult, but of course I can show you!
Link: Thanks a lot Malon!

Then they continued to watch the show and after a little while the song ended and everybody cheered plus threw up moneys and such on the carpet and the Gerudos bowed.
Suddenly the guard from the castle appeared in all the cheering noise and got everybody quiet when he just came screaming.

Guard: What the hell is this!?! Who let you heartless thieves in here?

Malon hide herself even more in her rob and also behind Link who was all confused.
The guard stumbled toward the crowds and the four dancing Gerudos, he was very frustrated.

Guard: Who the hell let you evil Gerudo thieves in our proud town?
Voice: I did!

The guard turned around and behind him was no one else than Nabooru who took off her rob and showed off herself. Nabooru was indeed not dressed for dancing this day. She wore pink Gerudo pants with some details on and a white top with the same details. Her hair was tied in a ponytail with a big red crystal, she really had long hair.
When the guard saw her he laughed a little, trying to act cool obviously.

Guard: So this is how a proud and evil Gerudo dancer and a singer looks without her dancing and show clothes? Still a beautiful but most heartless thief, but still looks like a dessert princess with all the stolen gold and treasures she wears.
Nabooru: What the hell are you blabbering about you moron? Trying to act like you are something again, huh?

When she said that everyone giggled and so did also Malon and Link.

Guard: All right, I’ve had enough of your little visits! Get the fuck outta here or I´ll take care of you myself!
Nabooru: Uh-huh? Then I guess you’re ready for revenge!
Guard: Indeed, I’m gotta show you our appreciation!
Nabooru: So will I!
With that Nabooru ran toward the guard and stole the bag full of money and other worthy stuff. She just grabbed it and then pushed him to the ground with nothing!
Everybody laughed now, Link and Malon were totally amazed. The guard were now furious but was first a little shocked when he sat up. He didn’t expect something like that even from a Gerudo. He was a stupid guard who actually thought that even Gerudos couldn’t be strong.

Guard. What the fuck!?!
Nabooru: Let this be a lesson! Never deal with the ancient tribes of the proud Gerudo! Remember that, weakling!

And then Nabooru turned to her Gerudo dancers and told them something on their Gerudo language and then the dancers did as she told them and ran away. After that Nabooru did a taunt dance to tease the guard. The guard got up on his feet and drew his sword. Nabooru then turned to Link and Malon.

Nabooru: Run!

Then she ran into the gates and the guard after. Malon turned to Link and grabbed his arm to make him follow with him.

Malon: Let’s run like she told us, Fairy Boy. We have to hurry to Hyrule Castle!

Later on they arrived the castle and close to the gate which was not far away from the castle itself. Link gasped when he saw the castle, he had never seen something like it before, it was then same as when he entered the Hyrule Market. It all was a whole new world for him.
They stopped at the place where the climbing plant was and rested. They where hardly to be seen there so it was allright.

Link: Wow, what was that Gerudo woman? And that weird guard...
Malon: Believe me it’s quite a story.
Link: I see. How can we get to the castle from here?
Malon: There is a gate over there and from there you only follow the way up to the castle.
Link: Thanks so much, Malon. I must get going now.
Malon: No, wait!

But Link was already on his way to the gate. Although it was a guard there Link didn’t care too much. He was highly determined to get to the castle. When Link arrived he looked up at the guard and hoping for him to open the gate and the guard looked down at him and glared.

Gate guard: What’s your business here, kid? Visitors are not allowed, the king is very busy nowadays.
Link: I’m not here for visiting, I’m here for a quest. Please, open up the gate, I need to see the princess.

It got quiet for a few until the guard laughed out load at Link.

Gate-guard: Ha ha ha! Tell me, what business a poor little fairy kid like you have with the daughter of our king?
Navi: I beg you pardon!
Link: Is it so hard to just take an easy request like just opening the gate for us? This is serious, I need to meet the princess!

Then the guard got serious and glared at Link once more.

Gate-guard: Go home, Fairy kid! The king is very careful about his daughter and would never let her meet such a simple Fairy kid like you. Hardly no one gets to meet her royalty cause the king is very aware of what can happen around his daughter.
Link: What?
Gate-guard: Go home! We aren’t any retards to believe your stupid pranks about so-called-important-quest! Just get outta here now, stupid Fairy kid! We and the royalties don´t need simple people like you!

Link was just about to lose his temper but managed to calm down in time and instead he glared back at the guard.

Link: Then don´t believe any fucking thing I say then but I thought at least visitors where allowed to look around. Aren’t the proud royalty for to show it’s big and proud royalty? Don´t you wanna prove for people how proud and big your place are and that you guys are better than the others?

The guard was quiet for a few seconds and Link grinned. It seemed like he put the guard on the right place. Navi also thought so when she whispered quietly.

Navi: Smart one!

The guard was quiet for a while but suddenly turned to Link and grinned.

Gate-guard: Even so not any simple people are good enough to see our proud royalty. But that depends only If they have enough cash! I tell you what, If you have 10 rupees which I really doubt a kid like you would have, I’ll let you in!
Link: 10 rupees?
Gate-guard: You can go home If you want!
Link: Ha! No way! Here you have your cash!

Link then picked up his wallet and gave the guard the 10 rupees. The guard got very surprised and quiet for some seconds. Link stood there and waited patiently with a grin on his face. The guard was still quiet until he then grinned at Link.

Gate-guard: Have it your way then, stupid kid!

The he hit with his spear in the ground and the gate opened.

Gate-guard: Just follow the road and you should probably get to Hyrule castle! Got it?
Link: Don´t worry. I’ll find my way on my own!
Gate-guard: I really hope that also!

Link just ignored him and walked through the gate. While he were walking the road he also spoke with Navi quietly.

Link: That’ll teach him hopefully!
Navi: Agree. But I also have a strange feeling about this. It all feels like some kind of trap!
Link: Maybe. But we have to meet the princess no matter what. Nothing’s gonna stop me now!

Suddenly they heard a strong short whistle! And in the next few seconds they found a guard come running toward them.

Guard: Hey you, kid! Halt! What the hell are you doing here? Get out!

When the guard was near them he grabbed Link’s arm and hauled him to the gate he came from.

Navi: What the hell are you weirdoes doing?
Link: OUCH! Let go my arm you fu….ouch!

Once there at the guard told the gate-guard to open the gate and after some seconds the gate was wide open and then the guard kicked him out so he fell to the ground and left. The gate-guard closed the gate and then chuckled at Link. He really lost his temper now and got up fast and turned around to the chuckling guard.

Link: Allright, I’ve had enough! I shall have my 10 rupees back for this, goddamnit!
Gate-guard: Chill of, kid! You got inside this gate and it craves cash!
Link: Oh you mother fuck…..!

He was just about to show the guard his appreciation but Navi stopped him just in time from doing something he probably would regret later with a whisper.

Navi: No Link! Calm down, this retard isn’t even worth your attention! We’ll find another way in but not like this!

Link then turned fast to Navi and noticed Malon behind the tree close to them sign him to follow her. He managed to calm down and then he turned around to the guard again.

Link: Take your fucking 10 rupees then cause that’s the highest level you’ll ever be worth!

And with those words he stick out his tongue to the guard and then turned around fast and ran away to where Malon was.

Gate- guard: Why you little?…

But it all was to late for the guard cause Link was already gone. Back at the climbing plants near the gate Link and Malon were talking about the issue.

Malon: No matter what you give them or how you’ll do, these guards are total retards. Me and Princess Zelda spoke about this for some day ago.
Link: Wait, wait a little. Errr…. Did I really hear right that you met and spoke to the princess for just a few days ago?
Malon: Indeed. Sorry I forgot to tell you that Hyrule´s Princess Zelda and me are best friends since long!
Link: Cool! Then you must know where to find her!
Malon: Before she and I spent time very often but nowadays things have changed. I’m sure you’ve noticed how some things changed so strangely and fast.
Link: Indeed, I think so.
Malon: This all is indeed quite a very long story, I think it’ll be best If the princess explains it for you. Nowadays she is inside the castle or in the courtyards. And to secretly get into the castle you’ll have to get into the courtyards first. And it will be pretty hard since this are is well guarded by these retarded guards. But the way you’re going to take through the gate will not be noticed easily by the guards.
Link: Great, where do I go?

Then Malon pointed at the climbing plant. Link then grinned, he already got it all!

Link: Cool, Malon! Thanks a lot!

With that he started climbing until he got up.

Malon: And now there is a little problem. From here you will get away from the gate-guard but then you also somehow must get trough the other retards up there on the hills to the castle.

Then Link thought for some seconds but then suddenly grinned.

Link: I have an idea! Will you help me?
Malon: Sure, just tell me what to do. What’s your great plot?
Link: I’m gotta teach that fucked up guard and his friends a little lesson for now! When the right moment comes which I’m sure you’ll notice you have to be fast and make them think that I went away at the direction to the castle town!
Malon: Ah, a little maneuver! Easy! But once I’ve led them the wrong way I have to return back to Lon lon ranch, I have important things to do!
Link: Feel free! Just give me a minute, this is gonna be fun!
Malon: You can bet that I’m really waiting for that funny moment! Let’s do it!

Then Link smiled thankfully at Malon and went to the roof of the gate and climbed down the hole there to the room Zelda went to when she and Malon were about to do their secret swordplay. Once he got down in the little weapon storage Navi began to talk.

Navi: Whatever you’re gonna do I really hope your sure about this!

Then Link got up his slingshot and prepared.

Link: No worries! This is just going to be lots of fun!

Then he opened the door quietly and aimed with his slingshot on the gate-guard and shot. The Deku seed hit his helmet with power so the guard himself even fell to the ground.

Gate-guard: What the fucking hell!?!

Then Link fast aimed for some other guards on the hill and shot them on their armor and helmets so they also began to wake up. All of the guards on the hill then woke up and rushed down to the gate-guard who still was on the ground, very angry and confused. Link giggled and closed the door quietly and prepared to climb and get away.
At the gate all the guards arrived. The gate guard finally got up from the ground but he was furious.

Gate-guard: God fucking dammit! Who the hell made that shot? Someone shot me on my helmet!
Guard: I got shot on my armor!
Gate guard: What!?!
Guard 2: And I also got shot!
Guard 3: What the hell is going on here?

All the guards were furious and confused about it all. Malon was close to laugh out at them all, but since she had a role to play she kept quiet and put on her robe and went over to the guards.

Malon: What’s this fuss? What’s happening? Did I heard right or has someone just been shot?

All the guards stared very irritated and confused on Malon.

Gate-guard: We ALL was just shot! We fell for a stupid prank!
Malon: I see! Then I guess the one you’re after is the green boy with the fairy. I saw him came running by and went to the castle town. He seemed to be in hurry!
Guard: A green boy?
Gate-guard: That little simple fairy kid to a fucking brat! I KNEW IT!!!

Then he ran for the castle town and everybody else of the guards followed. Alone left were Malon standing at the castle gate and Link who just got up on the roof to the castle gate. He gave Malon a thumbs-up and the ran for it. Malon waved at Link and then she ran away too.
Link just crossed the hill fast and carefully to not get noticed by the guards at the big gate to the inside of Hyrule Castle. He found a climbing wall and climbed to the other side and then got into the water quietly and swam rest of the way. Next he fund a little lonely place where only two big milk boxes were plus a man which seemed to be the guy who came with the milk was lying on the ground sleeping. Link went to the door and tried to open it but it seemed to be locked. Then he turned around to the sleeping guy and walked slowly to him and searched his pocket. He found a key which seemed to be the key to the door so he tried it and it worked.

Link: Yes!
Navi: Great job!

They closed the door after themselves as they entered the castle courtyard inside the locked door.
