two ideas behind this -
one, when I started the painting, the massive floods in India and its victims due to the Indian Government's indiference.
by the time I finished, the global financial crisis erupted taking all the world's governments by surprise - America, Germany, France, Britain...Their indifference to their own people can also be seen in the picture now.
