Justine sel Eriyk--Giftart for Windsong

Well...it only took FOREVER, but here is 's prize for entering the Shadow Blade poetry contest!!

This is how I imagine Justine, daughter of the Guardian Erik and Leah, will appear as a teenager. She's currently only 3 years old in the story, but truth be told, I stink at drawing little children. That's why there was so much procrastination, and so many false starts when I really started to try. I really hope this will be OK with you, Windy--this was an image I really wanted to get out.

Justine's dress is typical Aramansch fashion for the daughters of the upper gentry. Like with most Aramansch clothing, I've melded European and Native American influences.

Also, like her father, Justine is completely blind, and owing to the same condition, her eyes always stare straight ahead. (No hints, though, as to whether or not Justine follows in Erik's footsteps and becomes a Guardian!)
