Today's submission is actually pretty shabby as far as my doodles go. I really didn't want to draw anything today. But I forced myself to nonetheless. I believe that when we don't want to do something we learn the most by doing it. A marvelous case in point is how I went through my high school career. For my freshman and halfway through my sophomore year I was a slacker, and didn't do my work. When I was finally confronted I began the habit of forcing myself to do my work simply to avoid attention because I just wanted a simple life and found that I retained a great deal more amount of information than I did when I was actually interested. I could easily have become an A+ student and been in the Honor Society, but that would have instead been counter productive and I would just receive more attention than previously, so I became a B/C student intentionally. Hopefully this method will lead me to become a better artist as well, even if its just to get some ideas visualized instead of struggling to write them like I used to do.

A little back story for this picture is that the man with the baseball bat is Jack, leader-by-reputation of the Brotherhood of Bashing. Even though the name is kind of lame their organization based on Earth is singlehandedly responsible for the elimination of several notorious "mythical" creatures. It was founded in 1965 by a mysterious man who claimed to be from Egypt by the name of Rana who friends might recognize as a particular favorite character of mine with a knack for causing worldwide mayhem. The brotherhood only fights with blunt objects and may alter them to allow for more damage, such as exploding charges or concealed blades. Jack designed most of the different charges used for hunting various types of enemies.

Remy down thar is throwing a tantrum and is beginning to sprout heads. He can get pretty out of control when he gets emotional. Fighting him is always an unpredictable affair. Maybe I'll doodle that sometime so you can see for yourself. Or maybe I'll scribe a scene or something.

Until then, cheers.
