Amazingly beautiful work.
I love the dompositioning, how those dark colours of Ryuuku binds the picture as an entirety, how the shades emphasize the movement that is in the picture.
You've truly managed to portray the characters in a manner that is very loyal to Death Note's origal look, but still crafted them in a way that has your own print in it.
Love your brushwork also, how you've controlled the colours so ruthlessly, but still how one can see the vivid strokes of your brush in the vestige, on how the colours blend together, shift and turn.
One could think that bright and fluoriscent colours wouldn't fit Death Note's topics and themes well at all, but I actually think they do fit in this work grandly, creating the contrast where one can see the dark and somehow so powerfull movement so well.
Love it.
All the Deathnote round here makes me want to Download it X3 *only have 1 act* Anywayz beautiful colours did you use markers? Lovely skin and hair its so smooth looking. You use colour really well in all your pieces.
I'm absolutely loving this. Your control of natural media is simply amazing, and Ryuuku looks so typically playful
I hope you won the competition with it. It's a grand piece of work.
